You are about to become part of one of the oldest Library organizations in North America. Joining APLA is a two step process. Your first step is to fill in this form and when you submit it you'll be directed to the Association's payment form. You can pay online, or print off the APLA Membership Form and mail it in with a cheque. If you're a student enrolled in an accredited library program, your student membership is free. Please note that your name, email address, preferred mailing address, current status, type of workplace and interest groups are all required fields.

APLA provides complimentary memberships to students. Student membership is open to all individuals interested in librarianship, library and information services who are enrolled in a post-secondary program. Individuals working full-time while being enrolled in a school program are not eligible for this category. Students must identify the school that they are enrolled in.
APLA provides complimentary membership in its interest groups. You can select multiple items.
